Springbank Distillery presents a new release of its smoky range

Sometimes you can’t tell why a distillery and its products suddenly are hyped and new releases are on everyone’s lips – not only literally… But in regard to Springbank fans can give a clear answer: They praise the constant quality, the acceptable pricing and last but not least the traditional production methods of the family owned, independent distillery in Campbeltown: Springbank still uses its own maltings and doesn’t use computers throughout the production process – here the word “handcraft” means what is says.

The new release of 14 years Sherry Cask Matured that just has been launched in the UK only some days ago was sold out after a short time in the rare shops that offered it. There are 9.000 bottles of the single malt worldwide on sale – some will find their way to German and other Continental shops the next days.

The Longrow 14 years Sherry Cask Matured stayed in refill Oloroso sherry casks for the whole 14 years of maturation and was bottled with 57.8% ABV. On the Springbank Distiilery homepage you can find those official
