Ardnamurchan Paul Launois Release 2024 presented
Single malt kissed by champagne
The Scottish Ardnamurchan Distillery presents a new Paul Launois edition: Ardnamurchan Paul Launois Release 2024 is already the fourth batch of this special edition. The name gives it away: Casks from the champagne producer Julien Launois had a special influence on this Highland single malt.
Ardnamurchan works very transparently and provides detailed information on the barley used, the production process and the casks in which the whisky is matured. The QR code on the bottle label of an Ardnamurchan Paul Launois Release 2024 leads to information that tells us, for example, that this whisky was produced in 2017 from unpeated Concerto barley malt and matured in 13 ex-bourbon casks. 12 of these were given a final finish in Paul Launois casks, while one went into the batch without a finish.
The Ardnamurchan Paul Launois Release 2024 was bottled without chill-filtering and in natural colour at 57.3% ABV. The batch yielded a total of 3,198 bottles, which are distributed in the UK and 32 other countries worldwide.
