Portmagee

The name of the village of Portmagee, after which the Irish Portmagee Whiskey is named, goes back to Captain Theobald Magee, an 18th century smuggler and adventurer. The brothers John and James Murphy founded the brand in 2017. A Whiskey Experience can already be visited on site and planning permission has been granted for a distillery.
