Finish: medium-short
Comment: Decent budget scotch. Not speyside in style as the name "Highland Cream" may imply. If you want a budget peaty offering this is a goer - 75/100

Nosing:
Surprisingly light and pleasant. Smoky, fenolic notes and maltiness in the foreground and some fresh, jucy fruityness (like dark fruits, maybe some dark grapes) in the back.
Taste:
Smoth, creamy and initially sweet becomes more dry after a few seconds on a tongue and palate. Can't get rid off taste of rosemary from my head when drinking the whisky. There is also some nutmeg.
Finish:
Leaves a bit oaky aftertaste with a bit of smokiness in the back. Cannot feel ugly metalic notes in aftertaste which are almost always available for young alcohols.
Comment:
I really know why it's called a Highland Cream - it's just smooth. Smoke is not overwhelming and alcoholic notes are not harsh. Teacher's is simple and nice. It's a good choice for an evening with a book where you wan't to concentrate on the lecture instead of whisky.
Giving it 3 out of 5 as a final rate.
