Octomore 5 Years Comus 04.2
The Octomore 4.2 is an adventure. The name comus, the son of Bacchus - god of wine - stands for the lust of drinking. If you buy this bottle you get an older Octomore with 167 ppm and 61% matured in Sauternes casks (Chateau d'Yquem).
The Octomore is the story of a farm not far from the Bruichladdich distillery. Octormore means "Large Eight" (octo = 8 latin). The farm was divided into eight smaller farming communities. The farm belonged to James Brown also known as the godfather of Octomore. The Bruichladdich distills the peatiest whisky in the world but the maturation is carried out at the old farming buildings.
