Nosing:
Lemon and orange peel pleasant sweetness. Vanilla, dark chocolate, floral notes and hints of oak.
Taste:
Sweet lemon, a hint of ginger and cinnamon. Mild oak and baked apple.
Finish:
Mellow, malty and dry.

Nosing: toffee light tannins
Taste:
Finish: short to medium
Comment: This is my first Macallan. Very nice whisky. The nose is very rich and complex. The taste is watery and smooth at the start, but then spices kick your tongue, and after you swallow it, the texture becomes more dry and oily. The aftertaste is oaky and spicy
