Lagavulin 16 Years
The classic Lagavulin is kilned with a high smoke content in the malt. The stills are pear-shaped, so that all flavors can be passed on to the condensers during distillation. The Single Malt then matures in Bourbon and Sherry casks to completion.

Taste. Smooth, but its far too complex , as just been somewhere else brings new elements to consider and even though i can't comprehends I love it. its all good.
Finish: hate it when it s finished.
Comment: This has been my favourite for 29+ years. Summer 2018 I had the pleasure of visiting magically Islay. From landing and its so special. My Sat Nav looked like i was in heaven, ill upload the picture I had to take. sitting on magical ground in-between Ardbeg and Lagavulin. Looking at the outstanding scenery, Damn right , I was opening my new purchase. I had a good slug forsake, it was mine, lol whilst taking this Euphoria moment in. Its no fluke or gimmick, that so many of of the best whisky comes from little gem., they know what they are doing thats for sure.
