Nosing: the smoke is much more muted than on the 16 yr
Taste: a more meaty "dried fruit" note, much more sweeter than the standard laga 16 release! the briny notes of laga are hard to pick up here.
Finish:
Comment: a great expression of lagavulin 16. much, much more sweeter is what you get from the standard 16. the smokiness is also more muted, giving way to other more fruity and sweet notes, but still play a supporting role adding balance and depth.
