Taste:
Finish: relatively sweet , a shift toward somewhat but still faint. General presence consistent with the nose and taste experience.
Comment: Definitely a Glenfiddich. Smoke is just noticeable enough to be true to this whisky's marketing. Indeed, perhaps a good dram to introduce peat to the uninitiated, as fruit & sweetness are also well integrated in this offering.
No doubt a bit kitschy for some, but enjoyable if one is looking for an easy-going scent- & flavor-first experience ahead of dogmatic expectations.
