Glenfarclas - 1989 Edition No. 23 - Jakob I.
Charles James was the son of Maria Stuart and her second husband Lord Darnley. As his mother had to abdicate a year after his birth, he was crowned as Scottish king with the name Jakob VI.. After Elisabeth I. died in 1603 childless, he also gained the English and Irish crown as Jakob I.
This rarity from the old casks cellar of the independent distillery Glenfarclas matured in selected Sherry casks. It is an excellent Singel Malt with the typical Glenfarclas Sherry aromas.
