Coming from the Speyside of Scotland, this Single Malt can be characterized as rather mild, fruity and inoffensive. Cragganmore 12 is underestimated because it's not a very demanding and expressive whisky. Nevertheless, it has a decent complexity and is well-balanced. The nose is smooth, grainy and dominated by fruits with heather honey and toffee. It tastes crisp and fruity in the arrival, turning slightly dry and bitter in the development. Although the finish is rather short and not very substantial, this whisky has something to offer - if given the chance.
