Glendronach 21 Years Parliament
The Glendronach 21 Parliament gets its name from a colony (=parliament) of crows who've been nesting in the trees next to the distillery for 200 years. It's been matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

Taste:
Finish:
quite long and on the beggining very strong
Comment:
Well balanced, strong in taste, mouthfilling, 48% on tangue is quite delicate but a bit harsh when you swallow, so needs a bit of water, and with water the taste is not so deep.
I definitely prefer 18 YO. I thought 21YO will have more development from PX casks.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good dram of whisky, but for me not wothy actuall price, especially when we have 18 YO so much better and more affordable.
Taste: and an ever-so-slight bitterness that is reminiscent of , but is clearly a supporting undertone rather than attempting to play full-on harmony
Finish: and at the end of a long finish that is true to this whisky's magnificent core
Comment: The nose is the star of this whisky. Taste and finish are direct echoes of the elegant scents presented.
The layers offered by The GlenDronach 21-year old are perfectly complementary at every turn. There is at no point a flavor or scent that departs from this whisky's profile. Every facet builds upon its predecessor.
