Cragganmore 12 Years - 1997 Distillers Edition
This bottling of Cragganmore is part of the Distillers Edition of the Classic Malts of Scotland. In this series, Whiskies are finished in casks from the Iberian peninsula for additional six months, after the usual maturation. Port Wine casks are adding dry, malty aromas and a rich taste to the Malt.
The four seals on the bottle state important facts about the bottling. The first seal shows the symbol of the distillery, the famous flat pot still and the train, which was used for the transportation of resources. The second seal states the founding year of the distillery, 1869. The third is for the used cask type, Port Wine and the last seal shows the initials of the responsible master distiller.
