All tasting notes
Sweet, but not fruity. Gentle peat smoke and wet hay.
Taste:
Medium sweet arrival. Light peat smoke. Peppery note builds over time.
Finish:
Medium to long. Pepperiness remains. Oily cereal note. Some aniseed/black liquorice
Comment:
I picked this up as a half bottle just to try. I've yet to find a Jura that I really enjoy, and unfortunately this isn't quite that either. The peatiness is judged nicely, but the rest of the spirit isn't interesting enough to really hold the attention. It's not expensive, but it's not the cheapest either. There are better options out there at this price point.
