@Carlton
any ideas on why the whisky feels cold being drunk from it?
the perfect opportunity for @horst_s to conduct an experiment!
No idea. If anything, one would think that the air might act as an insulator. I agree that this is right in Horst's wheelhouse.
@andyb01
Not quite the GC-Glass. The main differences are:
a) bigger cupa for a bigger surface of the liquid
b) lip at the top for a better flow on the tongue
c) the relation between upper diameter to largest diameter is more extreme to intensify the aroma
@horst_s
Will the super looking 'Horst' glass be available for sale internationally? Is there an official name for it?
I like how the glass seems good for both nosing and sipping, this is really hard to find.
@Markscotchcrazed
We hope that we will have the new production running over the summer. The glass will be called Whisky.com Glass. We are working on establishing sales contacts worldwide.
@hwchoy
How do you like the norlan glass after using it for a few months?
@kroman
actually it was my friend's. I don't like it in terms of mouth feel, holding, and viewing of the whisky colour. I still prefer a glencairn or a copita.
@Carlton
Only Glencairn glasses and the ones I used in distillery tastings.
However, like my neighbour @DaFin, I'm from a hot country, so, if I'm going to drink some cheap a$$ blend in a friend's house, in a warm summer evening, I vote for tumblers with ice.
Those Norlan ones caught my attention. I'm putting them in my Christmas wish list for my wife.
My favorite alcohol is whisky...
Glencairn, Brandy snifters, rocks glasses, stemless wine glasses, etc... I typically use them all, depending on my mood.
