Quite nice this one,wirh a sherry/coffee finish which is really nice!May try Winters Gold as only €24 on Amazon.Found the 15 a bit bland.Apparently NOT the highest distllery in Scotland!
@Ian_Crombie
A little bit off topic, do you have free postage? €24 with free postage is an excellent price for DWG!
@Vasco Yep..£24 for Amazon Prime members,but the reviews are really bad!
@Ian_Crombie
I've read some reviews in MoM right now. OK, not quite the perfect dram, but maybe worth the try, and then keep it up front in your whisky cabinet as a "cellar defender" for some distant friends that pay you a visit.
@Vasco Whisky is very personal,dont even always agree with Ralfy or Horst.Ralfy liked Glen Scotia 15 & Arran 14..I didnt...Horst loves Glenfarclas 18...i think its there weakest whisky.By the way Bunnahabhain 12 is £36 at the moment,and its GRRREAT!!
@Ian_Crombie
Very good price. Here, in the only street shop in Lisbon that has Bunnahabhain, I have to pay around €55 for the 12 YO. Not my favourite Islay dram, but pretty decent!
@Vasco Obviously Bunnahabhain is a far less peaty example of Islay whisky,but it is clearly well made and full of nice flavours.Being in the northern,remote part of Islay,it is quite often overlooked in preference to Laphroaig or Lagavulin.It is a distillery worth trying,in my opinion!
